Happy New Year, Gamers of Winter thanks

Hello, and Happy Greyhawk Reborn New Year!!

The twin moons of Oerth, Luna and Celene, are both waning, and that means another Needfest has passed with the peoples of the lands moving forward into a new year. It is Fireseek 619 CY, as recognized as the Common Year.

For those of you not well versed in Greyhawk lore, Fireseek is the first month in the Greyhawk Calendar, and we kicked off the year in GHR with a bang at Gamers of Winter 2019! It was another fantastic weekend of creating rumors and legends as well as overcoming the weather in Harrisburg, PA this past weekend! The admins and author/GMs of Greyhawk Reborn greatly enjoyed judging and playing with all our familiar faces, and really loved meeting and gaming with our new players! We ended up running 15 tables of Greyhawk Reborn adventures over the 5 slots of the convention.

Oh, and remember, with the new year in Greyhawk comes a resetting of your Adventure Days in Greyhawk Reborn! Everyone starts with 364 new opportunities for adventure! Some PCs have already made a serious dent in their time for 619 CY!

I’d like to take a moment to thank the people who helped make Greyhawk Reborn at Gamers of Winter 2019 a great success!

First, every person who sat and played at our GHR tables. We consider Greyhawk Reborn a shared story-telling experience between our GM/authors and our players, and that was certainly evident this weekend. Dice were tossed, foes vanquished and innocents were saved. Lots of enjoyment was had, lots of laughter ensued. That is our first priority, everyone having fun. Your spare time is very valuable, and we thank you for choosing to spend some of your valuable time with our campaign.

The biggest thank you to our GMs for Gamers of Winter 2019: Gary Allison, Tony Antonich, Anthony Keller, Benson Sherman, Jay Stypinski, Dave Guerrieri, Tom Garlic, Kyle McCleaf, Dave Peterson, and Sam Tagliaferre. You folks are the reason for the player’s enjoyment! Our campaign is dependent upon the quality of our judges, and our repeat play and continued growth show how good you guys are. I’ll put you folks up against any other campaign out there!

A big thank you to Doug Howard and the rest of the Gamers of Winter 2019 staff. You folks are friendly, helpful and adaptable. The venue was wonderful! Hats off to your folks!
